TATTOO AFTERCARE
Immediately After Your Tattoo
If You Have Second Skin:
Keep the second skin on for 3–5 days.
If it begins to peel or lift, remove it gently under running water by slowly pulling it down and away from the tattoo.
Once removed, continue with the “In the Coming Days” aftercare steps below.
If You Have Cling Wrap:
Leave the initial wrap on for about 1 hour or until you arrive home.
Wash your hands thoroughly before removing the wrap.
Clean your tattoo gently with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap.
Pat dry using a clean paper towel.
Allow your tattoo to breathe—do not re-bandage.
In the Coming Days
After showering, gently pat the area dry—never rub.
Apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare balm or cream 2–4 times daily for the next 1–2 weeks.
Please Note
It’s normal for light scabbing to occur. Avoid over-applying cream—excess moisture can create thick scabs and slow down healing.
TOUCH-UPS
Fine line tattoos use a very delicate technique where only a small amount of ink is deposited into the skin. Because of this, it’s completely normal for your body to push out some of that ink during the healing process. In some cases, this can cause the lines to heal lighter or softer than intended. If this happens, don’t worry—a quick touch-up session will bring your tattoo back to looking crisp and fresh. Please wait 4-6 weeks to book in your free touch-up.
don’t do this!
Don’t pick, scratch, or peel at your tattoo – let scabs or flakes fall off naturally.
Don’t soak your tattoo in water (no baths, swimming pools, spas, or ocean dips) until it’s fully healed.
Don’t expose your tattoo to direct sunlight or tanning beds – UV rays can fade and damage healing skin.
Don’t re-bandage your tattoo unless instructed by your artist.
Don’t use scented moisturisers.
Don’t wear tight or abrasive clothing over the area that may rub and irritate your tattoo.
Don’t over-apply cream – too much moisture can suffocate the skin and slow healing.
Don’t skip aftercare – neglecting cleaning or moisturising can affect how your tattoo heals.
